Artizan Rare Muscat NV 375mL
A consistent trophy winner, this luscious fortified dessert wine is predominantly Muscat—vibrant, deep amber-brown with a green rim. The bouquet is lifted and layered with spice, butterscotch and fruit cake, alongside pronounced aromas of toffee, raisins, candied fruit, chocolate, mocha and dates.
Many years’ maturation in old oak casks has produced richness, intensity, and rancio complexity. The palate is generous and harmonious, revealing layers of toast, caramel, and raisin, finishing long, clean and complex.
Awarded 97 Points and Wine of the Year at the London Wine Competition 2022, the judges praised its “rich, dense character with good acidity… and a complex long finish.”
Aptly labelled, this limited release has the stamp of a true Artizan—handcrafted and unique. These qualities are also reflected in the label, featuring original artwork by Merilyn Hutton.
