Reserve Chardonnay 2024

Our flagship white wine — a single vineyard Chardonnay of elegance and depth from Wilyabrup in Margaret River. Bright straw-green in colour, the bouquet is layered with notes of white peach, nectarine and citrus blossom. Wild yeast fermentation and maturation in fine French oak barriques have added texture and complexity. The palate is finely structured, showing vibrant stone fruit, interwoven with subtle oak and a refreshing line of minerality that carries through to a long, graceful finish. A cellar-worthy Chardonnay that will continue to evolve beautifully over the next 5–8 years.

"I believe this is the finest chardonnay yet, released from Gralyn. The aroma strikes all the right chords with the aromatic combination of citrus, butterscotch, and spicy struck match, and then a palate which retains a fine linear feel. There is texture and intensity here with a minerally savoury oak character. It still has a degree of tension, but there is plenty of fruit to support further ageing. It's a cracking good wine."
