Crafted from 48-year-old dry-grown vines, this medium-bodied red is vibrant and expressive. Deep purple in colour, it opens with an intense bouquet of mulberry and blackcurrant. The palate is plush and fruit-driven, bursting with ripe black berry flavours. Fine savoury tannins provide structure and carry through to a long, satisfying finish. Enjoy in its youth for freshness and vibrancy, or cellar to allow further complexity to develop. May be served slightly chilled.
