Winemaker's Tasting NotesA single vineyard wine showing great depth of flavour and finesse. Bright straw-green in colour, with complex aromas of peach, nectarine and citrus. Wild yeast fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques has produced a finely textured palate with fresh minerality on a long persistent finish.
There is a distinctive spicy style of the chardonnays from Gralyn which this wine captures. Has a slight nutmeg and butterscotch character which starts on the nose and then extends through to the palate. A squeeze of lemon adds further lift, while the minerally finish focuses the finish. Impressive wine. 95/100
