Winemaker's Tasting NotesCabernet Sauvignon is a flagship wine for Gralyn Estate - rich, full-bodied and elegant. Dense, dark crimson in colour, perfumed with blackcurrant, violets and cedar. The palate is powerful and intense, layered with cassis, spice and fine seamless tannins. The finish is long and persistent. A small quantity of this mature wine has been re-released as a Museum wine, from the owners' Private Collection. The wine is well balanced and vibrant and will continue to improve with further bottle age. The recent selection by Qantas, for First Class International flights is a true reflection of the outstanding quality of this wine - a huge accolade for a small boutique winery.
Quality is the focus of the Qantas Wine Program. Qantas is looking to showcase wines that are not only Australia's finest but are world class wines.

This is still just a pup and very shy, but there's plenty in that powerhouse palate that will start to reveal its best qualities in a few more years. Silky smooth integrated palate with a velvety texture. Firm central spine holds it together into a very long finish. Cellar 15 plus years. 94/100
Ray Jordan, The West Australian Wine Guide 2010
A cabernet showing classic Margaret River dark fruits. There's good fruit concentration, complexity and mystery. Great harmony, too! This is a strongly built wine that will need several years in bottle to develop. It certainly has the depth and structure.
